The bells were ringing and the voices were singing at Assumption Church in Marysburg on December 11. Over 400 people packed the church for the 14th annual Marysburg Christmas Concert, which featured a handbell quartet from Middle Lake, and two groups of singers numbering 80 in total, and ranging in age from eight to over 80. The Marysburg Regional Choir of 46 adult voices, led by Sharon Carter, sang over 15 selections, including a special “Silent Night, Holy Night” arranged by the late Al Gerwing of Lake Lenore, the former director of the choir.
