COPS FOR CANCER
A dozen members of the RCMP in the Battlefords were donating their hair to a good cause – the fight against cancer – on Thursday. The RCMP members were on hand for their Cops for Cancer barbeque at the detachment, with all the proceeds to go towards Relay for Life to fight cancer. Those at the event could purchase soft drinks and burgers to help the cause, and then watch as several RCMP officers went under the clippers.
