Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
Students from the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program at YMATC took part in "Copa Sask - Saskatchewan Cup of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and submission grappling" tournament in Regina on June 23. Colton LaBelle once again dominated his divisions and took home two gold medals. One in Gi grappling and one in no gi. Andrew Weber was able to win his first match in the adult cruiser weight division, but was outweighed, outreached and outranked for his second match. Still he managed to capture the silver. Lane LaBelle fought three hard matches in his Junvenile Rooster division to take home the gold in Gi grappling, and was able to also bring home a silver medal in his no gi division.
