RBC Cup 2012 Semifinal and Final

The Humboldt Broncos’ run for the RBC Cup was halted abruptly by a sudden-death overtime goal by the Woodstock Slammers in their semifinal game on May 12. The game ended with the Slammers up 4-3, and moved them on to the final on Sunday. In the other semifinal on Saturday, the Penticton Vees beat the Soo Thunderbirds 3-0. It was the Vees versus the Slammers in the RBC Cup final on May 13. Though Woodstock put up a valiant effort, Penticton won the game with a goal in the final seconds. Final score was 4-3 Penticton.
