ADOPTION DAY

A number of lovable animals were looking for loving homes on the weekend just outside Mark’s Work Wearhouse. An adoption day and barbecue was hosted in conjunction with Lend a Paw Animal Rescue and Prairie Pooches Rescue. The event featured several dogs and even some kittens, all of them rescued from homelessness or abandonment and now looking for adoption. The potential pets did their best to impress the many prospective owners in attendance at the event Saturday, between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. There was also information on hand on training and responsible pet ownership.
