The lions 5th annual Quad Derby will be held Sat., April 21. Registration 10 a.m. - noon at the rink. Riders $10.00 each or 3 for $20.00, silent riders $5.00 each or 3 for $10.00. 50% payout. Contact Vern 898-4400 or Keith 898-2069.
There will be NO service held at Bredenbury church April 22. A joint Pastoral Charge service will be held at Langenburg United Church at 10 a.m. featuring Prairie Blend.
An afternoon of playing cards was held at the Busy Bees center on Wednesday with 36 in attendance. Congratulations to the winners who were: 1st prize went to Mildred Danelko of Calder with a score of 182, 2nd prize went to Jim Wrigley of Yorkton with a score of 181, 3rd prize went to Gloria Morin with a score of 175, low score went to Mary Shaw. The door prize was won by Jim Zeke of Esterhazy, a lovely lunch followed, it was an enjoyable afternoon.
