Big fire on Fyfe Ave.

Fire crews were on the scene Tuesday night responding to a vehicle fire in the Parsons Industrial Park area.

According to North Battleford Fire and Emergency Services, the blaze involved a sandblasting motor located on the rear of a semi tractor unit that was fully engulfed in flames at the 10000 block of Fyfe Avenue. The alarm time was at around 6:40 p.m.

The fire created a lot of smoke that was easily visible to eyewitnesses in the area. However, fire crews were able to quickly contain the blaze.

North Battleford Fire responded with one pumper and five firefighters who were able to extinguish the fire in about 25 minutes.

Also on the scene were RCMP and WPD Ambulance. No injuries were reported.
