The Ministry of Tourism, Parks, Culture and Sport announced Jeff Stock has won the “best summer job ever”.

Stock is the 2012 Saskatchewanderer - a summer student position designed to travel around Saskatchewan and blog about everything that makes the province special.

“We are looking forward to another summer of showcasing Saskatchewan,” Tourism, Parks, Culture and Sport Minister Bill Hutchinson said. “The Saskatchewanderer project recently won an award at the Tourism Saskatchewan Awards of Excellence gala and we look forward to building on that success.”

Stock won an interview with the Ministry through an online voting contest. He was then selected as the 2012 Saskatchewanderer based on his resume, his video skills and his ability to market the province in a positive way.

“I have travelled all over the world, most recently through the United Kingdom, Germany and India, and yet I haven’t seen nearly enough of my home province,” Stock said.
