BREDENBURY - News from Bredenbury

A baby shower for Abigail Patzwald, daughter of Kendra & Ed Patzwald, of Moosomin, was held in the Busy Bees Center at 2 p.m. It was nice to have both grandmothers Margaret Nicholson and Verna Patzwald and great grandma Peggy Gill in attendance. There were 35 in attendance and all enjoyed seeing the new arrival. Congratulations.

The Bredenbury Lions held a very successful Mother’s Day brunch serving about 110 people. Delicious food was served. Thanks to all who worked, donated and attended. Thanks Lions for the services you provide the community. Home visiting with Fred and Margaret Nicholson were John & Peggy Gill of Saskatoon.

Dave & Gloria Herron attended a concert in Regina & visited with their son Brian, Shirley & Tyson for the weekend.

Nice to see Eva Knott home from the hospital and feeling better.

A graveside service will be held on Sat., May 26, at the Bredenbury Cemetery, at 1:00 p.m., for the late Ralph and Beryl Wiley.

On Sun., May 27, a joint service will be held in Bredenbury at 10:00 a.m. Everyone welcome.

Men’s Senior Golf will start on Thurs., May 17, at 1:00 p.m. Come out & enjoy the fun. Weather permitting. Bredenbury Golf Clubhouse has a new look.

Thanks to those who worked to improve the clubhouse. New sponsorship signs have been put out at each hole with yardage & par on each. Golf Course looking great.

Congratulations to Cory & Jayme Varga on the arrival of their baby girl, Rhaylon Mae on May 13.
