Scores from the diamonds

It was a busy night for ball in the Battlefords.

Baseball, fastball and slo-pitch were under way in the Battlefords and area.

In North Saskatchewan River Baseball League action The Wilkie Brewers were in North Battleford and beat the Beavers 7-1. Bye Braun was the winning pitcher while Kyle Gregoire took the loss.

Other scores from the NSRBL include: Meadow Lake winning 14-3 over the Standard Hill Lakers and the Lloydminster Meridian Twins beating the Midwest Expos 6-1.

In Battlefords and District Ladies' Fastball League action, the Unity Midget Panthers downed the Unity Bantam Panthers 14-6.

No other BDLFL scores were reported from Wednesday night,
