June 8 and 11 John Paul II will continue with their spring camp for football players interested in playing with the Crusaders next season. All dates are set for 4 p.m. at the John Paul II soccer field. June 9 Saskatchewan Baseball Association will be holding a level one umpire clinic in the Battlefords from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Contact Ron Balfour for more information. June 10 North Saskatchewan River Baseball League has two games on the schedule. Unity will host Meadow Lake at 1 p.m. and Wilkie will host Meadow Lake at 5 p.m. June 11 Battlefords Ladies' Fastball League continues with the Battlefords Bantams and Battlefords Midgets facing off and the Northwest Vipers and Unity Rustlers playing at the Flats. In Unity the Unity Midgets host the Battlefords Survivors. In Maidstone the Iron Maidens host the Unity Bantams. All games at 7 p.m. starts. June 11 North Saskatchewan River Baseball League has two games on the schedule including North Battleford hosting Standard Hill at 7:30 p.m. at Beaver Lions Stadium. June 12 North Saskatchewan River Baseball League has two games on the schedule. Locally, Wilkie hosts the Lloydminster Junior Redhawks at 6:30 p.m. June 12 North Battleford Comprehensive High School will have Rueben Mayes speaking at the school and he will be honoured with naming the practice field at the high school after him. June 13 North Saskatchewan River Baseball League has two games on the schedule including St. Walburg at home to Meadow Lake at 6:30 p.m. June 16-17 North Battleford Golf and Country Club will host the annual Ladies Northwest Open.
