Tuesday night baseball scores

The diamonds were dried enough from the weekend and senior baseball action resumed Tuesday.

In North Battleford, the Beavers took a 5-1 lead into the seventh inning. Standard Hill tied the game in the seventh innings, but the Beavers score a run in the bottom of the inning to win 6-5.

The Wilkie Brewers used a five-run fifth inning to help them to a 8-2 win over the Lloydminster Junior Redhawks. Bye Braun earned his second win of the season for Wilkie allowing one run over six innings.

The only visiting team to win Tuesday night was the Unity Cardinals. They went to Lloydminster and beat the Border City Blue Jays 15-7, which gave the Jays their first lost of the season.

Unity and Wilkie have identical records at 4-2 while North Battleford are half done their regular season schedule and are 4-3.
