GRIMSDALE: Maggie (Peggy) McKillop Grimsdale May 21, 1918 - June 5, 2012. The family of Peggy Grimsdale announce her passing at the Spruce Manor Special Care Home in Dalmeny Saskatchewan on June 5, 2012. Peggy was born in the Davidson farm house at Struan Saskatchewan on May 21, 1918 to Archie and Agnes Davidson. She married Fred Grimsdale on June 15, 1940, moving to live at The Nickel Plate Mine at Hedley British Columbia, returning to live at Sonningdale Saskatchewan in 1945. She resided in Sonningdale until 2006 when she moved to the Luther Care Retirement home in Saskatoon and subsequently to the Spruce Manor Special Care Home in Dalmeny in 2010. Peggy was predeceased by her loving husband Fred in 1992, her sister Hannah in 2001 and her brothers George in 1973, Archie in1993 and Alex in 1948. Peggy will be fondly remembered by her children Jim and Jeanette Grimsdale Red Deer, Alberta and Sheila Armstrong Saskatoon, her grandchildren, Kathy Grimsdale, Tom (Leigh-Anne) Grimsdale, and Leanne (Mike) Smith all of Red Deer, Shannon (Jeff) Doering of Marsden Saskatchewan and Rob Armstrong of London England. She will also be missed by her great grandchildren, Nicole Grimsdale, Ethan Smith and Charlie Doering. Funeral Services will be held at the Sonningdale Community Hall, Sonningdale Saskatchewan on June 11, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Spruce Manor Special Care Home, P.O. Box 190 Dalmeny, Sask. S0K 1E0. Grondin Funeral Serivces Ltd. - Biggar entrusted with arrangements. Our Family serving Your Family since 1963 ____________________________________________________
