June 28 North Saskatchewan River Baseball League continues with St. Walburg at Silver Lake to play Standard Hill at 6:30 p.m. June 29 - July 1 Canadian Professional Chuckwagon Associaton will be in Little Pine. This is the final CPCA event before the Calgary Stampede. July 1 North Battleford Golf and Country Club will be holding a fun couples tournament. Tees take to the course at 1:30 p.m. July 2 Battlefords and District Ladies' Fastball League will begin league playoffs at the Flats. Games will start at 6 p.m. with league awards to follow and a second game played immediately following the awards. July 4 Battlefords and District Ladies' Fastball League will have playoffs action underway at the Flats. July 6-8 Battlefords Minor Softball Associaiton will host bantam B girls provincials at the Flats. The Battlefords Bandits are one of 12 teams in the tournament. July 9 Jackfish Lake Gofl and Conference Centre will host the United Way Golf Tournamemt. There will be a 1 p.m. shotgun start. Call 445-1717 to register.
