Don is survived by his wife of 46 ˝ years, Vi Holhoyi; children and grandchildren: son: Brent (Michelle): Brady, Brandon, Ryder, North Battleford, SK; son: Dean (Corrina): Laurin, Jared, Connor, Regina, SK; daughter: Tina (Bryce) Anderson: Megan, Katelyn, Saskatoon, SK; brothers: Daniel and Raymond, Melville, SK; sisters: Agnes Molnar, Martha Molar, Francis Novak, Marion Holhoyi, Melville, SK, Julia Molnar, Yorkton, SK; Irene Holhoyi, Saskatoon, SK; brothers & sisters-in-law: Janet Molnar, Joyce (Mike) Molnar, Jack Gulash, Irvin (Janet) Gulash, Melville, SK, Ed (Betty) Gulash, Regina, SK, Larry (Lynne) Gulash, Weyburn, SK, Leona (Ed) Weber, Watson, SK; numerous nieces and nephews. Don was predeceased by his parents: Frank & Martha Holhoyi; father and mother-in-law: John & Julia Gulash; sisters: Elizabeth Meckling, Margaret Zinzac, Rose Holhoyi; brothers-in-law: Edward Molnar, Frank Molnar, Ted Molnar, Emil Zinzac, Harold Novak. Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Joseph Calasanctius Roman Catholic Church, North Battleford, SK with Fr. Val Besas Celebrant. The Cross Bearer was Brady Holhoyi. Liturgy Of The Word was shared by First Reading ~ Charlene Bierwagon; Second Reading ~ Karen Pacholko; Gospel ~ Fr. Val Besas; Prayers Of The Faithful ~ Susan Bazin; Liturgy Of The Eucharist Offertory Gift Bearers ~ Eugene & Edna Molnar. Music Ministry was Tom & Connie Hagel. The Honour Guard was present with Knights Of Columbus and Honourary Pallbearers were “All Who Shared In Don’s Life”. Memorials are requested to The Battlefords Union Hospital Foundation Inc, Box 1358, North Battleford, SK S9A 3L8 or The Charity of the Donor’s Choice. Interment took Place at Cremation Section ~ City Cemetery, North Battleford, SK.
