Proposed seniors apartments continue to move forward

North Battleford City Hall continues to move forward with plans to for Caleb Group of Saskatoon to take over the former Kinsmen Aquatic Centre site.

City council has authorized the mayor and city clerk to issue the Cities Certificate of Approval covering the subdivision of property associated with a parcel of land at the corner of 18th Avenue and 106th Street that will be the site for the proposed 94-unit apartment and condo complex.

Council had earlier approved both the rezoning and the sale of park land on the site. The Kinsmen Aquatic Centre is slated for demolition later this year once the new aquatic centre opens.
