Carlyle citizens are treated to natural health solutions

By Jessica Mees

A crystal booth is set up at the Natural Health and Healing expo.

The Natural Health and Healing Expo at Memorial hall last weekend saw a huge turn out.

The second annual event to be held in the town went on for the majority of Saturday and Sunday, with several things to see.

The goal of the Expo was total well-being, physical, mental, emotional and of course, spiritual.

Carlyle is home to many practitioners and services, which often go unnoticed. The Expo gave visitors the chance to communicate with people they never would have spoken to on the streets and experience new things.

The range of exhibitors touched on everything from herbal teas to water filtration systems to healing crystals. Anything that could improve health of self- awareness was present.

Each day also included several guest speakers. On Saturday 3 short duration speakers took the stage, as well as the event’s special invited guest, Chris Lee. Chris spoke about past lives, and did a light introduction to his audience. He did not perform or look into people's past lives, as he was merely trying to educate non-believers, and believers alike.

“You go into hypnosis, not under it,” said Lee. “I always ask people, under what? A chair? A desk?”

Chris Lee's presentation included facts, history and personal success demonstrations. He trained in Vancouver 17 years ago and has since been working over Canada, England as well as the United States.

“My wife has been lots of things in my past lives. She's been my brother, my mother and more.” he explained.

Overall the weekend was quite the success and educated people and even convinced some hesitant people that they can live healthier prescription drug free lives.
