Criticism meant to help

The Editor:
Apparently an editorial in this paper, so I am told, was referring to me. Sorry that I missed it.

I would like to make it very clear; anything that I say in these letters are things that in my opinion will make the city operate in a fashion that will save us money and at the same time have a job done properly THE FIRST TIME not having to redo it numerous times. And believe me, I am not by myself on any of them.

Constructive criticism never hurt anyone and it is meant for the city manager down to the ordinary every day worker. As far as I know, I do believe that we still have freedom of speech in Estevan.

All of this back slapping that is now going on, being we have an election coming up, is what I would call a leg slapper. Children play better games than this.

With, I hope, more letters to follow.

Yours truly,
Dale M. Wetsch

(Editor's note: the letter Mr. Wetsch mentions was not an editorial, it was part of a cheer in the Cheers and Jeers section of the Southeast Trader Express.)
