MAITLAND, Marilyn "Missy" Anne (nee Hokanson) August 8, 1943 - July 20, 2012, Marilyn was born in Saskatoon and raised in North Battleford, Saskatchewan. She attended the University of Saskatchewan and then taught for thirty years in Loon Lake, North Battleford, Sask., Frobisher Bay, Coppermine, NWT, Little Fort, Kamloops and Richmond, BC. Predeceased by her parents, Anne and Hank Hokanson, and her brother Daryl, Marilyn is survived by her husband Robert; sisters Linda Hokanson (Bob Nevin), Toronto, Pat Harper (Ray), their children Erin, Greg and Katie, Vancouver, BC; and Kim Kitson (Bill), their children, Scott, Sarah and Jill, Days Beach, Sask., as well as many other nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Marilyn was a great musician and was a member of Lion's Gate Chorus of Sweet Adelines for twenty years.
