Drug charges laid

Two North Battleford residents have been charged after RCMP raided a residence in the 1000 block of 108th Street Sunday.

Charged are Robert Kenneth Morrison, 22, and Edwina Mary Atcheynum, 23. They were released until a Sept. 13 court appearance.

Three people were taken into custody during the search when police seized 33 grams of marijuana, a digital scale, $170 cash and other evidence of street level drug trafficking. Also seized were two marihuana plants being grown in a bedroom.
