MERVIN SHOLOPIAK

Mervin Tony Sholopiak beloved husband of Mrs. Angie Welder of Yorkton passed away on Friday, July 27, 2012 at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre. He was seventy-nine years of age. Tony leaves behind his wife Angie Wilder (Cathy), nine children; seven sons, Dean, Franky (Elenore), Kevin (Pam), Dale (Arlene), Lorne (Krissie), Jamie (Melissa), Daniel (Dawn). His two daughters Frances, Laurie (Corey). His nineteen grandchildren Crystal, Joy, Curtis, Joe, Kelly, Patrick, Dale Jr., Aalayah, Adrian, Brendon, Austin, Randal, Dannen, Naomi, Angel, Colby, Kwin, Shania, Melvin. His nine Great Grandchildren Faith, Anthony, Elijah, Serenity, Charity, Blake, Cheyenne, Anne, Carmen. Two sisters Annie Stefaniuk (William) and Elsie Onufreychuk Tony is predeceased by his father Alex Elias Sholopiak, his Mother Mary (Novitski) Sholopiak, daughter Crystal Brevik and son Bill Marion. Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 from the Yorkton Memorial Gardens Family Centre with Mervin Dubnyk of the Yorkton Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses officiating. Interment followed in the family plot in the Garden of St. John at the Yorkton Memorial Gardens with Gordon Guenther, Michael Fisher, Adam Fisher, Bradley Guenther, Larry Wintonyk, Lennie Salyn and Curtis Pelletier serving as casket bearers. Joni Johnson was the soloist and read a eulogy. Ron Balacko gave a tribute and words of remembrance. Condolences can be e-mailed to the family at www.baileysfuneralhome.com.
