Fast, exciting action in the Battlefords and District Men’s Fastball League came to an end at the end of July.
The playoff tournament was held July 28 at Glenburn Regional Park.
Hatherleigh advanced to the final after finishing first in round robin play.
The 4K Auto team faced Speers in the semi-final and came out victorious after a come from behind 8-6 win.
In the final, it was Hatherleigh defeating 4K Auto 11-4 to claim the championship trophy once again.
Hatherleigh’s roster includes Brad Johnson, Tim Desjarlais, Derek Chapman, Dave Mireau, Mitch Hawtin, Dean Brick, Heath Beaudry, Dennis Johnson, Tyson Knight, Brian Monych, Terry and Bentley Monson and Shawn Opikokew while Gus Peterson is the team’s manager.
