Edmonton Eskimos release Rashad Jeanty and Evan Harrington

EDMONTON - The Edmonton Eskimos have released defensive lineman Rashad Jeanty and fullback Evan Harrington.

In February, Jeanty returned to the Eskimos where he began his pro career in 2003.

He started in the week one home opener against Toronto before being placed on the injured list.

During his first round with the club, he won two Grey Cup championships in three years and nabbed the team record for the most sacks in one game (three).

Harrington began the 2012 season on the Eskimo practice roster and was named as a starter for week five against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
