Jerome Friess 1926 - 2014 Jerome Thomas Friess, late of Estevan, SK passed away at the Estevan Regional Nursing Home on Monday, May 19, 2014 at the age of 87 years. Jerome's memory will be forever cherished by his wife Annamary Friess; children, Sharon (Jim) L'Ecluse and Ron (Darlene) Friess; grandchildren, Cale (Erika) Friess and Brooks Friess (Emma Talbott); brothers, Joe Friess, George (Cecile) Friess and Dan (Bonnie-Jo) Friess; sisters, Madeline Knakoski and Florence Hodge; brother-in-law Ivor (Yvonne) Brown; sisters-in-law, Margaret Friess and Kay Friess, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, John Lucas and Frances Friess; brothers, Roy Friess and Andrew Friess; sisters, Margaret (Jim) Ryan, Elizabeth (Aloysius) Loustel, Pauline (Jack) Hernon, Gertrude (Allistair) MacDonald, Madeline in infancy, Helen Brown and Eleanor (Arthur) Tessier; brothers-in-law, Harvey Hodge and Ernie Knakoski. Prayers were held on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan. The Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, May 23, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Estevan, by Rev. Brian Meredith. Interment followed at Souris Valley Memorial Gardens, Estevan. Those wishing to make donations in Jerome's memory may do so directly to the New Estevan Regional Nursing Home, 1201 - 2nd Street, Estevan, SK, S4A 0M1. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hall Funeral Services, Estevan. Thank You The family of Jerome Friess would like to express their appreciation to everyone for their love and support during this difficult time. Thank you to Fr. Brian Meredith for celebrating mass and to Doug Third for the prayer service. Thank you to family and friends for the gifts of food, flowers, cards, visits, phone calls and donations in memory of Jerome. Thank you to the St. John the Baptist choir, the ladies of the CWL for preparing the lunch, Hall Funeral Services and Dustin Hall and Shirley Petterson for the beautiful services and songs. The family would also like to thank Verlyn Clearwater for doing a beautiful tribute to Jerome in the eulogy and Marilyn Graham for doing the readings at the mass. Thank you to the pallbearers: Brooks Friess, Cale Friess, Tony Walliser, Larry Mack, Jerome Yoner and Daniel Betnar. The family appreciated the dedication and devotion of the staff at the Estevan Regional Nursing Home. Thank you for taking good care of Jerome.
