One person has been charged with armed robbery, and two others are also facing charges, following an incident in Estevan on Wednesday morning.

Members of the Estevan Police Service (EPS) were called to the robbery at a north end convenience store/gas station at approximately 2 a.m.

Through investigation, police determined the identification of the individual responsible.

Police were called to an apartment complex and located the male, who was being harboured by two other males inside an apartment unit. The individuals inside the apartment obstructed police and aided and abetted the individual responsible for the robbery.

The individual responsible broke into a separate dwelling in an effort to evade arrest, but was eventually located and apprehended.

All three individuals were taken into custody.

Frank Antosh, a 22-year-old Estevan man, has been charged with armed robbery, break-and-enter to a dwelling, and using a disguise in the commission of an offence.

Dean Smith and Dale Smith, both 37-year-old males from Estevan, have been charged with aiding and abetting in the armed robbery for harbouring him from the police. They have also been charged with obstruction for interfering with the arrest of the suspect.

All three made their first appearance in court on Wednesday. Antosh's next appearance will be Sept. 8, while Dale Smith and Dean Smith will be in court again on Sept. 19.
