Two caught with theft from multiple stores

On Jan. 15, a 19-year-old man, Paul Jewhurst of Moose Jaw, and a 17-year-old girl who cannot be identified appeared in Estevan Provincial court facing multiple charges of theft under $5000.

On Jan. 15, a 19-year-old man, Paul Jewhurst of Moose Jaw, and a 17-year-old girl who cannot be identified appeared in Estevan Provincial court facing multiple charges of theft under $5000. The charges came from several days in early January, ending on Jan. 14. They were in custody when they appeared.

The stores in Estevan hit included Peavey Mart, Canadian Tire, Walmart, Fas Gas and Shell Pro-Wash.

The youth was released, sent to alternative measures, with a court return date of April 30.

Jewhurst was released on an undertaking with the Crown’s consent. Both are to not attend the stores and gas stations listed above. Jewhurst is to appear in court on Feb. 5.
