Gladys Alta (Kyllo) Zurif, born January 28, 1912 in Craik, SK., went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Wednesday, April 18, 2007 in Regina, SK.

Predeceased by her parents, Gunder and Gonelia Kyllo; husband, William Zurif; brother, Perry Kyllo; sisters, Marget Brooks and Marion Doull; and nephew, Grant Kyllo.

Gladys is survived by her daughter, Myrna Khalid; her grandchildren, Zina Khalid and Hisham Khalid; and her nephews, Delmar, Glen, Ron and Cameron Brooks, Don and Lorne Kyllo of B.C.

Engaged and engaging till the end, Gladys was known to be nothing short of a phenomenon. She attended Scott Collegiate and Normal School in Regina, met her husband William Zurif, a CPR relief agent, and followed him throughout the province, teaching at various schools. Gladys had a natural gift for music, which along with her faith, was a constant throughout her long, fulfilled life. We will miss her quick wit, her relentless curiosity, and her entertaining stories of a lifetime spent in the prairie towns of Saskatchewan.

Funeral Service was held on Saturday, April 21, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in the Victoria Avenue Funeral Home, 2080 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK with Rev. Jack Olglesby officiating. Interment followed in Estevan City Cemetery with Doug Third officiating.
