Stanley Rivett went to be with his wife, Doris, on Monday, May 7, 2007 at the age of 87 years. Survived by his son, Wayne Plaistere and his two sons, James and Guy, all of England; nieces, Barb (Neil) Martens and family, Red Deer, Alta.; Marilyn (Jim) Turanich, and family, Regina; Denise (Terry) Mac-Donald and family, Regina; also numerous other nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents, John and Lucy Rivett; wife, Doris; sisters, Lucille Gunn, Helen Wilkinson; brothes, Dennis, Reg, George and Ronald Rivett.

Memorial service was held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 11, 2007 from the Chapel of Orsted Funeral Home, Estevan, Rev. M. Barnabas officiating. Interment followed at Souris Valley Memorial Gardens.
