Angeline passed away peacefully in the hospital on May 7, 2007 in Langley, B.C., at the age of 89 years.
Angeline was born to Albert and Azelda Chapdelaine on November 26, 1917 in Forget, Sask. Angeline married Joseph R. Gervais and they lived in the town of Hitchcock an farmed nearby.
Angeline later moved to New Westminster, B.C., and then to Langley. She enjoyed dancing and socializing, baking, crafting, her pet birds and cat (Baby) and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also had a passion for flowers. Angeline was a happy person, always smiling and making everyone around her laugh and enjoy her company.
She was predeceased by her parents, husband (Joseph), brother (Eugene) and sisters (Cecile and Louise).
Angeline will be lovingly remembered by her son, Donald of Langley, B.C., and grandchildren, Clint (Michelle) McLean, Holly McLean and Jennelle Gervais; daughter, Marie (Ron) Stregger of Estevan, Sask., and grandchildren Wanda (Kurt) Zimmerman, Teresa Stregger (Brenden Shauf), Trevor (Kelly), Renee (Colin) Perkowitsch and Sharla (Rodney) Thompson; son David (Marie) of Penticton, B.C., and grandchildren Michelle Mossing and Michael (Mary); 19 great grandchildren, and her sisters, Evelyn, Alice and Helen.
Angeline was cremated in Langley and she will be laid to rest at the Souris Valley Memorial Gardens, June 29, 2007 at 1:00 p.m.
