Benoit Joseph Marie Beriault passed away on July 24, 2007 at the age of 83 at his home in Midale.

Funeral service was held at St. Peters Lutheran Church in Estevan at 2 p.m. Monday, July 30, 2007. Interment at Souris Valley Memorial Gardens.

Ben is survived by his loving wife Sharon, whom he married January 30, 1999; and his three children, Lorraine (Lloyd) Sali, Rene (Gwen) Beriault and Maurice (Diane) Beriault by his previous marriage. He is also survived by his brother Paul Beriault; his sisters Eva Thibeault, Angeline Moreau, Rose (Cyril) Bouchard; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Ben is predeceased by his parents Ralph and Elise Beriault, brothers Hilaire, Lucien, Louis and Joe; sisters Yvonne George, Denise Giess, Lucy Bauche and Eugenie Bauche.

Ben was born June 12, 1924 at the Beriault homestead six miles north of Alida. He was the eleventh of thirteen children. He worked hard on the farm and was farming on his own at the age of 17 or 18.

Benoit worked a variety of jobs in construction, but his favourite job was at the Estevan Comprehensive School. Ben worked on the construction of the school and when it opened, he worked as maintenance staff, and ending his career of 20 years as maintenance supervisor. Ben retired early because of poor health. He enjoyed interacting with the students.

Ben liked talking with people, usually about farming and the dirty 30Ős. He loved his home in Midale and his flowers in the yard. Thank You
