Cecelia Lochbaum

Mrs. Cecelia Lochbaum of Regina passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 8, 2007 at the age of 87 years.

She was predeceased by her husband, John in 1991; parents; one granddaughter, Erin Lawrence; and several brothers and sisters.

Cecelia will always be lovingly remembered by her four daughters, Pat Young of Kelowna, B.C., Bonnie Greene of Surrey, B.C., Janet Reap (Luke Lawrence) of Regina and Shelly Cole (Wayne) of Strathmore, Alta.; one son, Edward (Sandy) Lochbaum of Qualicum Beach, B.C.; grandchildren, Kim Young (Aron) of Kelowna, B.C., Chris and Tyler Lochbaum of Sacramento, California; Dion (Sherry) Greene of Surrey, B.C.; Kelly Greene of Surrey, B.c.; Jared Lawrence of Regina; Carly and Micki Cole of Strathmore, Alta.; and three great-grandchildren, Tynen, Keegan and Megan, as well as one honourary daughter, Terry (Don) Saen of Regina.

Cecelia was born in Mossbank, Sask., on April 8, 1920. She received her education at Mossbank. She married John Lochbaum on June 10, 1944 in Burnaby, B.C., and moved to Bienfait, Sask., where they raised their five children and ran a restaurant for several years. Cecelia and John moved to Moose Jaw in 1982 to retire. Mom resided in Moose Jaw until 2004, making a move to Regina to be closer to her family.

She enjoyed so many, many things, but her family was always her number one priority. Mom never ceased to amaze us with her coking and sense of humour. She will always be remembered as number one Grandma and such a thoughtful and caring Mother. Cecelia was always concerned about everyone and chose to live life to the fullest.

Funeral Service was held at 2:30 p.m., on Friday, September 14, 20078 at the Salvation Army Church, corner of Thatcher Drive and 9th Avenue, Moose Jaw, Sask., with Pastor Marvi Seaborg officiating. Interment followed in Rosedale Cemetery, Moose Jaw, Sask.

In lieu of flowers and as an expression of sympathy, contributions to the Canadian Lung Association or CNIB would be greatly appreciated by the family.
