It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of our beloved on, Mark. Mark was born February 14, 1951 at the Estevan hospital and passed away into eternal life September 20, 2007 at Boyle Hospital, Alberta.
Mark attended Hillside School, Junior High and the Estevan Comprehensive School. After graduation, Mark moved to Calgary, Alberta until moving to Fort McMurray and began working with Syncrude. In June this year, due to health reasons, Mark had to retire. Mark had made many friends during his working years. A hard worker, his workers in that department said he was the best. They gave us compliments of Mark which we will always cherish. Mark was of a quiet nature, very kind and generous and always had time to help others. He planned his retirement by buying land at a lake and finished it just as he wanted it when God had a different plan. He loved hockey, baseball, golf.
He leaves to mourn his wife, Pat; his son Greg (Laura), Shauna, his daughter, three grandchildren of Boyle, Alberta; sister, Bonnie of Indio, California; three brothers, Brad of Washington, D.C.; Blaine, Regina, Sask.; Darcey of Okotoks, Alberta; his mother, Phyllis, Regina, Sask.
He was predeceased by his father, Archie in June 2006.
Sadly we'll miss him
But we will try not to grieve
For in a little while
We too must leave.
To meet him on that beautiful shore,
Where parting is unheard of
And life is never more.
We are thankful for all those years we had
And all the good times shared,
We pray that when he left us
He knew how much we cared.
He was so patient in his suffering
When no hand could give his ease,
God, the helper of the helpless
Felt his pain and gave him PEACE.
Mark, we love you dearly. Love Mom and Family.
