Debbie Denise Alexander Nee Lukye 1959 – 2017

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Debbie Denise Alexander at St Joseph’s hospital on April 13, 2017 at the age of 57 years.

   Left to cherish precious memories are  husband Dave Alexander and her children Rene Alexander (Shawn Debruyne) , Madison, Daiten , Joyce and Craig Alexander andTammi Kulhavy. Also left to cherish special times are Debbie’s mother Maxine Lukye and sister Marilyn Dukart, sisters in law Karen Mack and Gail Jackson, brothers in law Gerry and Randy Alexander, also Debbie’s fur babies Jersey and  Stella, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.

   Debbie was predeceased by her father Peter Lukye and brother Roland Lukye, also parents in law Katherine and Joe Struble and brother in law Harvey Mack. 

   Services were held at St. Paul’s United Church April 19 with Jason Richards officiating.

   Arrangements were entrusted to Hall Funeral Home.

Those wishing to make donations in Debbie’s memory may do so to St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation ( Pallative Care ), 1176 Nicholson Road, Estevan, Saskatchewan, S4A0H3, or a charity of choice.

   Debbie spent times enjoying her grandchildren and all of their activities. She also loved camping, playing bingo and Yatzee, and long walks around their acreage.

Thanks to Betty Simpson for the slide show, to Jason Richards for the family service. Also Linda Bodin and Kaitlyn Alexander for the eulogy reading.

The lovely lunch which was provided by family and friends at the Alexander acreage.  Also food, cards, and visits.

   Debbie was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, grandma and friend, she will be sadly missed by all her family.
