Lenora passed away at Hill View Manor, Estevan, SK on Monday, April 24, 2017 at the age of 95 years.
Lenora is survived by two sons, David (Lil) and Terrance (Terry Lynn); three grandchildren, Shannon, Darren (Jennifer) and Chrissy; three great grandchildren, Rhett, Rhea and Rowan; niece Lorna-May Sargent; sister-in-law Jean Wanner, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Chris; brothers, Ted, Theron, Raleigh and Desmond; sisters, May, Hazel and Levine; sisters-in-law Clara and Ida; brothers-in-law, Jake and Joseph.
Prayers were held on Friday, April 28, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan, with Mr. Doug Third officiating. The Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Estevan, by Rev. Brian Meredith. Interment followed at the Estevan City Cemetery, after which a luncheon was held in the church auditorium.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make donations in Lenora’s memory may do so to the St. Joseph’s Hospital Auxiliary, 1176 Nicholson Road, Estevan, SK, S4A 0H3.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hall Funeral Services, Estevan.
