   It is with heavy hearts that the
family of Verna Gertrude Styre
announces her sudden passing
in her home at Creighton Lodge
in Estevan, Sask. on Thursday,
November 20, 2014 at the age
of 86 years.

   Verna’s memory will be forev-
er cherished by her children, Mi-
chael (Valerie) Styre, Winnipeg,
Man., Antoinette Styre, Este-
van, Mary Styre, Estevan and
John (Latiffa) Styre, Calgary, Al-
ta.; grandchildren, Caitlin, Nikki
and Lucas Styre, Winnipeg, Me-
lissa (Chris) Deitz (and their
children, Jacob, Gabrielle and
Sophia) and Jocelyn (Dustin) Hall (and their daughter Grace), all
of Estevan, Jenapher Klein, Hay Lakes, Alta. and John Styre,
Calgary; brother Ronald (Polly) Kampman, Regina, Sask., as
well as numerous nieces and nephews.

   She was predeceased by her husband Barney Styre; grand-
son Michael Adam Styre; parents, Henry and Antoinette Kamp-
man; sisters, Dorothy (Ken) Jeffrey and Lou (Walter) Nyhus.

   Prayers were held on Monday, November 24, 2014 at 7:00
p.m. in the Chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan, with Doug
Third officiating. The Funeral Mass was concelebrated on Tues-
day, November 25, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist
R.C. Church, Estevan, by Rev. Doug Jeffrey, OMI, Rev. Brian
Meredith and Rev. Louis Abello. Interment followed at Souris
Valley Memorial Gardens, Estevan.

   Those wishing to make donations in Verna’s memory may do
so directly to Creighton Lodge, 1028 Hillcrest Drive, Estevan,
Sask., S4A 1Y7.

   Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hall Funeral Servic-
es, Estevan.

Thank You

We would like to extend a special thank you to Verna’s nephew,
Rev. Doug Jeffrey for graciously accepting our request to travel
from Battleford to celebrate the funeral mass. Thanks to Rev.
Brian Meredith for your spiritual guidance and assistance in the
planning, and concelebrating the mass. Also, thanks to Rev.
Louis Abello for traveling to Estevan to concelebrate as well.
Many thanks to Doug Third for leading the prayer service - your
kindness and meaningful words bring such a personal touch. To
Evanne and Nathan Wilhelm - the music was absolutely beauti-
ful, thank you so much. Thank you to the CWL ladies for provid-
ing a lovely luncheon. A special thanks to Dustin Hall and the
staff at Hall Funeral Services for your care and guidance. Verna
absolutely loved her home at Creighton Lodge, and we would
like to extend our thanks to the management, staff and residents
for your care and kindness. Last, but certainly not least, we
would like to extend our gratitude to our family and friends for
your kind words, prayers, masses, cards, memorial donations,
flowers and food. Your kindness will never be forgotten!
