Battlefords Handi-Bus has been temporarily shut down because of the COVID-19 virus.
That is according to a news release from the city. North Battleford Public Transit is also immediately implementing service reductions.
The reduced service schedule is Monday to Wednesday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with only one bus running on Thursday and Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The reasons cited by the city are to limit the exposure and spread of COVID-19 and to protect their employees.
