For those who still require a first dose (Age 12+), please book your appointment this week. Note that only the Pfizer vaccine has been approved for use with residents aged 12 to 17.

Many new appointments have been added to the patient booking system for first and second doses.

If you are having a trouble booking your first dose appointment call SASKVAX at 1-833-727-5829 for help.

“We are very close to reaching the next stage of the re-open Saskatchewan plan. Help us reach the finish line,” the Saskatchewan Health Authority said in a news release.

Eligibility remains unchanged for residents of the Northern Saskatchewan Administration District (NSAD) at 40 years and older for second doses regardless of when they received their first dose as long as they have passed the minimum interval between doses for the vaccine brand.

Persons who received a first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine may receive either the AstraZeneca vaccine or an mRNA vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) for their second dose when eligible under provincial age or date criteria for second doses.

There will be an AstraZeneca walk-in vaccine clinic at the Estevan Church of God on Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Anyone who is eligible for their first or second dose can attend.

All drive-thru and walk-in clinics will be on a first-come, first-served basis. No appointment is necessary. Residents can attend at their convenience. However, if you have a booked appointment and choose to attend a drive-thru or walk-in clinic, please ensure you cancel this appointment to allow others eligible to take your place.
