The 12th annual Creative Tables for Cancer at Prairie Place Hall in Arcola will be happening Oct. 17.
The brainchild of Darlene Olsen, Creative Tables has been raising funds for the Look Good, Feel Good program devoted to helping women going through or having completed cancer treatments.
Approximately 400 people will be attending this year and a couple of the tables are being hosted by men this year, much to Olsen’s delight. She is excited to see men taking part and hopes that next year there will be even more men attending.
The entertainment this year will feature Shae and Hannah Johnston from Arcola.
Olsen expects tickets will be sold out before the event takes place. There are, however, still some tickets available for the Winnipeg Jets hockey package, featuring two tickets to a game featuring the best seats in the house and two nights’ accommodation.
There will also be a silent auction during the evening.
