Leigh-Anne Kehler will perform through the Estevan Arts Council’s Koncerts for Kids series on March 31 at Westview School, starting at 2 p.m.

Kehler is an internationally acclaimed storyteller and one-woman performer. She has travelled the world and has several programs to choose from. She will perform her Around the World and Back Again show.

She has appeared nationally and internationally at renowned festivals including the Toronto International Storytelling Festival, Yukon International Storytelling Festival, Winnipeg International Peace Storytelling Festival, Winnipeg Folk Festival and Children’s Festival.

She has also toured schools in Japan, Thailand, Norway and Denmark.

Around the World and Back Again is a full hour of engaging folklore from many parts of the globe. The suggested audience is families with children ages four to 10.

Audience members will head off into the jungles of Central Africa, take a boat ride around the islands of Samoa, roll around the hillsides of Japan then head home to hear a tale of growing up with farm animals.

“Leigh-Anne will bring singing, movement and loads of fun along for the ride, so buckle up and enjoy the journey,” states a news release for her performance.

Advance tickets can be purchased at Henders Drugs, or at the door the day of the performance.
