The Estevan Art Gallery and Museum celebrated the talents of two artists during a reception Friday night.

Amalie Atkins, who resides in Saskatoon, discussed her media-based exhibit, We Live on the Edge of Disaster and Imagine we are in a Musical, which is currently in Gallery No. 1. Atkins’ exhibit includes several different videos that explore aspects of subjective time, such as the overlapping of past and present.

One of the videos is shown inside a tent.

The other exhibit is Nathalie Quagliotto's Code of Conduct in Gallery No. 2. It features several different objects associated with play, including a gumball machine and a four-person teeter-totter that is available for people to use.

Both exhibits will be on display until Nov. 9.

Next week's edition of the Mercury and Lifestyles will have more on these stories.
