It will look different than in the past, but this year’s Telemiracle fundraiser is happening this weekend in Saskatoon.

Kinsmen Kinettes Telemiracle 45 will begin at 9 p.m. on Feb. 27 and wrap up at 5 p.m. on Feb. 28. The fundraiser will air on the Telemiracle website at https://telemiracle.com/ or on CTV. A pre-show starts at 6:15 p.m. on the Telemiracle website.

Saskatchewan residents are encouraged to “Ring Those Phones” and support the event.

Proceeds will be directed to the meeting the medical needs of Saskatchewan people.

Members of the Estevan Kinsmen and Kinette Clubs will be at Telemiracle, helping out to ensure it is a success.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, this year’s Telemiracle will have live and recorded elements.

The national cast includes some well-known entertainers, including former Estevan resident Chris Henderson and Midale native Brad Johner.

Performances from people across the province have been pre-recorded.

Last year's Telemiracle raised more than $5.5 million.

The Mercury will have more on this story after the event, and in next week’s paper.
