The Missoula Children's Theatre held auditions for its upcoming local performance of the Snow Queen on Monday afternoon at Westview School.
Missoula Children's Theatre comes to Estevan for a week each year through the Koncerts for Kids series. They hold auditions at the start of the week to find dozens of talented local youths who can perform in their production, which this year is the Snow Queen. Local youths account for virtually all of the roles in the show.
The children who will comprise the cast were selected on Monday and quickly moved into rehearsals. The rehearsals will continue each day this week to get ready for the show.
The Snow Queen will be performed Saturday at the Souris Valley Theatre's Frehlick Hall. Performance times are at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
