Mr Mikes restaurant invited the Estevan community to its birthday bash on Saturday. The restaurant celebrated its two years with the Energy City while raising money for the Estevan Fire Rescue Service (EFRS).

On a hot, sunny day anyone, who felt like it, for only $5 could attempt to cool a volunteer firefighter down by sending him to the bottom of the dunk tank. And a lot of children really enjoyed this unique opportunity.

After getting their faces like wild animals or superheroes kids proceeded to the bouncy castle to spill the rest of their energy.

Couple race cars were sitting at the Mr Mikes parking lot along with the fire truck creating an atmosphere for the day. Guests could check out the firefighters’ gear displayed in front of the truck and enjoy the barbecue provided by the restaurant.

All money collected from barbecue and dunk tank will go towards the needs of the EFRS.
