The Estevan Arts Council’s Estevan Concert Series wrapped up its 2018-19 concert season March 14 with a performance by Heather Rankin at the Estevan Comprehensive School.
Rankin, who is a member of the famed Rankin family from Atlantic Canada, performed before a crowd of about 330 people. She was joined on stage by her band, which included a pianist, a guitarist and a bassist/cellist.
They performed many songs from her new album Fine Line, and some of her most well-known songs, some of which were recorded with her family.
She also told stories from her musical career to the audience.
The Estevan Concert Series brought six different acts to Estevan during the 2018-19 season. It was a diverse lineup that showcased the skills of some of Canada’s top musicians.
