The City of Estevan has announced an added attraction for the Hit after Hit Tour concert happening Saturday night at Affinity Place.
A tailgate party to mark the occasion will start at 5 p.m. in the multipurpose room next to Affinity Place.
The Hit after Hit tour features headliner George Canyon, along with Canadian country music veterans Doc Walker and Charlie Major, and newcomer Manny Blu.
Canyon rose to one of Canada’s hottest country music stars in the 2000s and has won many awards in the country music industry. He is known for such hits as Just Like You, Drinkin’ Thinkin’ and I Believe in Angels.
Although attendees do not need tickets for the Canyon concert to attend the tailgate party, they do have a chance to win 10 concert tickets courtesy of Budweiser. Tickets for the Canyon concert will be available at the door with the box office opening at 1 p.m.
Mr. Mikes Steakhouse Casual will be serving ribs and lodge chips at the party, while Labatt’s will be serving ice cold beer.
