Videos: Darren Jones discusses two carving projects

Darren Jones carving work on two trees in the 1200-block of Third Street in Estevan has wrapped up. Jones, who is a chainsaw sculptor from Rimbey, Alta., was in Estevan in late June and early July to work on the project for the City of Estevan.

Darren Jones carving work on two trees in the 1200-block of Third Street in Estevan has wrapped up. 

Jones, who is a chainsaw sculptor from Rimbey, Alta., was in Estevan in late June and early July to work on the project for the City of Estevan. He transformed two 12-foot tree stumps into tributes to the community.

One of the tree stumps is in honour of local industry, scenery and wildlife. The other pays tribute to local sports.

Jones also tackled a project for a local resident on King Street while he was in Estevan.
