It’s no secret that the Canadian Tire Store in Estevan has been making, and embracing, a lot of changes.
If customers recently dropped in, they would have noticed many changes to the store. Not only have there been merchandising changes, but the emphasis on technology is obvious.
Canadian Tire is embracing technological advancements to adapt to customer needs. Their Wow display and catalogue will give a taste of how digital technologies, print and retail have raised the bar in customer service.
The catalogue has been distributed in the mail, and, as always, it is available in the store. The Canadian Tire Estevan store has a Wow ambassador who can show customers how a cell phone can bring the catalogue to life with video and dialogue to explain product features, quality, installation and testimonials.
Anyone who is looking for a demonstration can Pawanpreet “Prince” Singh, who will gladly walk customers through the features.
The changes have been in the works since the end of January when the store went under an ownership change.
“I enjoy working with people” said Gary Young, the store’s new owner. “We have worked with some tremendous staff over the years and obviously tremendous customers. We feel fortunate to be here in Estevan. Our focus is customer service and customer satisfaction and innovation.”

The garden centre has expanded with a huge selection of quality product and exceptional customer service.
The paint machine has also been updated.
A new, premier hunting and fishing pro shop will be open for business soon. Customers will no longer need to travel to get firearms, they can soon get them directly in Estevan.
Canadian Tire in Estevan also offers lots of options are on the shelves for hockey and other winter and summer sports’ fans, while the tool and hardware departments offer all the newest in repair and renovations. There is also a large selection of small kitchen appliances and gadgets.
Customers are encouraged to watch for more exciting events and great deals in the future.
In addition to retail, Canadian Tire continues to support local community initiatives.
“We’ve always had a strong connection with the food bank, either directly or with service organizations,” said Young. “Youth programs, and Jump Start in particular, have had our support for over a decade as a Canadian Tire dealer.”
A barbecue fundraiser for Jump Start will happen at Canadian Tire in Estevan on Saturday, May 28, with proceeds directed to support youth and sport in the city.
