The Estevan Chamber of Commerce has announced details for how it will host all-candidate forums in October for the provincial election and the civic election.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, both forums will be closed to the public. They will be live-streamed by Access Communications and then available online for local residents to view.
Leading up to the forums, the Estevan Chamber will be accepting submitted questions to its office by email to executivedirector@estevanchamber.ca, or by phone at 306-637-2151. These questions will be used during the forums.
Additional questions will be discussed at the next Coffee Talk on Oct. 7 at 8 a.m. at the Days Inn’s Taylorton Room. This event is free and open to the public, however, please register at estevanchamber.ca due to the limit of 30 attendees.
The provincial election all-candidates forum will live stream on Access Communications on Oct.
13 at 7 p.m., and the civic all-candidates forum will be Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. Both forums will be available online for viewing if you are not able to watch the live stream or if you are not an Access Communications Co-operative customer.
