The Estevan Chamber of Commerce has announced the recipients of its scholarships for graduates of the Estevan Comprehensive School.

This year's recipient of the Farmer Appreciation Scholarship, worth $500, is Marci LeBlanc. This award is to support local students from an active farm family entering postsecondary education. The funds for this scholarship come from the work that the Farm Family Committee does every year during the Farmer’s Appreciation Evening event.

The recipient of the Entrepreneurship Bursary, worth $1,000, is Kelsey Littlejohn. This bursary is awarded to encourage and assist Estevan Comprehensive School entrepreneurial students who wish to further their education at a recognized and accredited postsecondary institution.

The Estevan Chamber says it sees the ECS entrepreneurship program as a vital introduction to Estevan’s youth to the importance of entrepreneurship to the economy.

The $1,000 Chamber Bursary recipient is Joren Dryden. This bursary is to encourage and assist students who wish to further their education in the field of commerce, engineering, business administration or trades at a recognized and accredited postsecondary institution.

The Estevan Chamber congratulates this year's scholarship and bursary winners.
