Estevan chamber to join others for virtual event with federal Tory leader Erin O’Toole

Federal Conservative Party leader Erin O’Toole will join the Estevan Chamber of Commerce, as well as the chambers from Moosomin and Weyburn, for a discussion on the Conservative Party’s pandemic recovery plan.

Federal Conservative Party leader Erin O’Toole will join the Estevan Chamber of Commerce, as well as the chambers from Moosomin and Weyburn, for a discussion on the Conservative Party’s pandemic recovery plan.

This virtual event is free to attend for chamber members, with a small fee for non-members. A special media registration is also available free of charge. Visit estevanchamber.ca for ticket information.

O'Toole is also the leader of the Official Opposition. 

“The Estevan Chamber looks forward to hearing Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole’s plan to secure our future and provide an opportunity for our members to ask their questions during this event,” said Jackie Wall, executive director of the Estevan Chamber of Commerce.

“As Canadians look ahead to rounding the corner on COVID-19, our country is at a crossroads. The future of Canada is what is at stake – and Canadians must choose which path to recovery they can trust,” said O’Toole in a news release. “Canada’s Conservatives got Canada through the last recession, and with Canada’s Recovery Plan, we will get through this one too.”

Representing southeast Saskatchewan businesses with approximately 500 members,the Estevan, Moosomin and Weyburn Chambers of Commerce are committed to advocating for the conditions in the economy that enhance our members’ prosperity.

Estevan, Weyburn and Moosomin are all part of the Souris-Moose Mountain constituency, which is represented in Ottawa by Conservative MP Robert Kitchen.

The virtual session will be Thursday at 2 p.m.
